What I heard today from a (homophobic/sexist/anti-Semitic) acquaintance expresses a barely original electoral behaviour in Greece: he will either vote for the "Communist" Party of Greece ("K."K.E./Κουκουέ) or for Λά.Ο.Σ., the united front of royalists, supporters of the military Junta of '67-'74, some Khrisi Avgi neonazis, extreme right-wing conservatives, lepenists and eco-fascists.
On the other hand, a friend of mine stated, on another place and time, "I could vote for anything but Λά.Ο.Σ. and Κουκούε. By anything he meant what I am also poised to decide upon voting inside the voting cubicle on election day: ΣΥ.ΡΙ.ΖΑ. (same eurogroup as Die Linke), Eco-greens or Socialists (ΠΑ.ΣΟ.Κ. or the greek SPD).
It is therefore rather obvious that the process is complete. Κουκουέ is now a fascist party. Greeks know it and the party knows it itself: that is why they are attacking Λά.Ο.Σ. and advising "communist" voters not to vote for it in their TV-spot.

Why, I might as well vote for the Macedonian minority party "Rainbow". I heard the Jews are behind it.

AntwortenLöschenAnd do you know why it's sad? Cause for many people KKE was a demi-God in post-WW2 years due to its help during the Occupation and the established socialist tendencies before the war.
It's also sad cause there indeed are some honest -though naive- people in Κουκουέ. They could get political in other spaces with much better results for themselves and the political life in Greece. Now they will rather become fascists themselves.
